The Atlantic Defensive Tactics Training Institute offers a wide range of training services for Criminal Justice, Law and Security, Correction Programs, Police agencies and Military agencies. The Defensive Tactics training we provide follows the HFRGTM Systems which is a leader in research based defensive tactics training. Through extensive tactical, legal and medical research, the tactics and techniques taught are designed to be practical, simple and defensible in court. The Atlantic Defensive Tactics Training Institute and HFRGTM will provide court room support for any certified individual using a HFRGTM technique. Based on Survival Stress research, our training provides minimal techniques which are simple and easy to use - "Keep It Simple". The theory behind this tactical training increases the individual’s success for survival in crisis situations.

Our training extensively covers the "Use-Of-Force" Continuum's and related sections of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Our instructors are also extensively trained in Verbal Conflict Crisis Intervention based on the VCCRI model of dealing with three different types of verbal resistance. This training is vital for individuals who work in any field where conflict is a common occurrence and this course is designed to improve conflict crisis intervention skills & therefore reduce the probability of escalation to physical intervention skills of the resistance-control continuum.
